Get your DNS Set it up
  1. You ask where example.com is. The question travels encrypted.
  2. ΕΛΠΙΣ DNS stops it if it's an ad or tracker. If not, it passes it on.
  3. The root doesn't know the site, but knows who runs .com.
  4. .com points to example.com's own name server.
  5. The name server answers. We check its DNSSEC signature.
  6. You get the answer, and we cache it so next time is instant.

Servers in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. a.hitoha.moe and b.hitoha.moe send ECS, so YouTube and other CDNs serve you from the nearest cache.

Works on IPv6-only

DNS64 and our NAT64 gateway let IPv6-only networks reach IPv4-only sites. Handy for a VPS with no IPv4 at all.

Our own resolver

We ask the root servers ourselves, no forwarding, and over TLS where they take it. Second in the world to check post-quantum ML-DSA-44 signatures.
